And we're off...
Been a busy few weeks before our big adventure. Furniture, cars and other bits all got new homes. Sold my Micra which you won't see in the area as it's at Chirnside Park. Finally got food provisions at 23.00 on Tuesday. By the time we got the boat sorted out it was 2.00 Wednesday morning and we were leaving at 7.00.
At Point Lonsdale lighthouse the waves were looking monsterous crashing on the rocks and rolling through 'The Rip'.
I finally got to see dolphins and seals on the journey to Eden.
Yes, I was seasick. But after a few hours and a good sleep I felt a lot better.
Arrived at Eden in the dark around 20.00 on Friday. Had pizza delivered to the boat. Decided to try out the showers. They were powerful but really cold. Met up with Tom, Natalie and Jacob on the Saturday and the crew Mark, Roland and Scott travelled back to Melbourne.
