Banjo Sharks

Today we set off from Ulladulla, and headed to Jervis Bay. We got to Jervis at about 3. We're using one of the national park's moorings.

We traveled here with Roger, Jan and Trevor. I was flipping through a book I have on the best places in Australia, and I found Jervis Bay. Apparently the bay is a year-long home to a pod of wild bottlenose dolphins. They aren't supposed to be shy either. You can also find fur seals here, as well as whales, and giant jellyfish. Jacob and I didn't see any of them though. Jacob and I made two trips to the shore, once on our kayak, and the other on Roger's Zodiac, we went flying through the water on that last one. We didn't see any creatures on our first trip over.

However when the sun was setting and we went on our second trip, Jacob and I spotted a stingray, which turned out to be a banjo shark. Jacob would hate me saying this, but he's slightly scared of sharks, hopefully after seeing an amazingly cute Banjo Shark, he's changed his point of view a little. We actually thought it was a baby stingray, until Roger told us what it was.

Yesterday we went out shopping for an idea I had, making a nandos hot sauce stew. So today we got to eat that, including 4 and a half bottles of extra hot sauce.
Tomorrow is a mystery, we are either staying here at Jervis for another day, or we are traveling early in the morning further up the coast.
